বাক্যটিতে Flying শব্দটি দ্বারা Verb এবং Adjective এর কাজ বুঝানো হচ্ছে। কাজেই বাক্যটিতে Flying বা উড়ন্ত শব্দটি হলো Participle. কিন্তু কোনো Word দ্বারা Noun এবং Verb এর কাজ বুঝালে সেক্ষেত্রে সেই Word টি Gerund হয়।
